Eco Delight Coffee, LLC provides specialty roasted coffee produced in the western mountains of El Salvador known as Apaneca Ilamatepeq mountain range, Cordillera Central in Costa Rica and the Huehuetenango and highlands of Mataquescuintla regions in Guatemala.
The farms where it is produced are located 4,500 feet above sea level. The trees are of the variety Arabica Bourbon; the plantations are all under shade trees and production practices are in accordance to ecological, social conscience and specialty coffee considerations.

The farms where ECO-DELIGHT Coffee is produced have been in the hands of the current owners for many generations, assuring consistent production practices which give unique and superb qualities to the coffee beans that make our coffee deliciously flavored. The premium price paid to them for their coffee allows them to promote health, education and dignified housing for their cooperative members and workers.
Coffee cherries are selectively picked from the coffee trees and after harvesting they go through a wet process in the coffee mills which end product is coffee in parchment (pergamino) state.

In this parchment state coffee is sun dried and stored in the producing countries and it can lasts up to 10 months before it starts losing its organoleptic characteristics.
The processes to produce the green coffee from the parchment coffee are called hulling, polishing, grading and sorting and this is done only when the coffee is ready to be exported to the consumer counties.
Sorting, grading and final inspection are done carefully by mechanical, electronic and manual operations.
Green coffee is imported and Roasting/Grinding and packaging is then made in our Roasting Plant in San Jose, CA.
